[If @wesschneider refuses to have PF stats for a drop bear in an official product, I’ll just have to do it myself.]

Koala, Drop Bear
This pudgy bear-like creature
clings to a tree branch. As it drops towards you, you notice its razor-sharp
teeth and long claws.

Dangerous
relatives of the harmless koalas, drop bears are flesh eating marsupials. They
look almost identical to their herbivorous kin, which drop bears often use to
their advantage. The two creatures sometimes live together in mixed
communities, allowing the drop bears opportunities for camouflage. The strong
grips that allow koalas to effortlessly climb trees are used by drop bears to
grasp and tear their prey. Drop bears will cooperate in taking down especially
large and tempting prey items, raining from the trees en masse. It is rumored
that drop bears and koalas are inter-fertile, with the offspring of such unions
having a mix of their parents’ dietary habits.

Koalas
are arboreal, leaf-eating marsupials. Despite their appearance, they are not
related to bears. Koalas primarily feed on eucalyptus leaves, the poisonous
oils in which are stored in the koala’s flesh. They are excellent climbers, and
spend almost their entire lives in the trees. Koalas spend most of their time
eating or sleeping. If bothered, koalas can be belligerent, trusting to their
toxic flesh to deter predators. Koalas are marsupials—the young are born
underdeveloped and crawl into their mother’s pouch, where they suckle and grow
to maturity. An average koala weighs about twenty pounds; males are larger than
the females.

Koala Familiars

A koala
familiar grants its master a +3 bonus on Climb checks. Koala animal companions
use the statistics for drop bears (see above).

Koalas are native to Riven, where they are commonly used as familiars due to their cute appearance. Drop bears are much rarer beasts, which forest dwellers rightly fear.
