Temparsa This
dwarfed luminous humanoid has scaly skin and a crown of horns along its head. A
faint aura of static radiates off of it.
Temparsas are strange creatures made as
much from electricity as from flesh. Energy crackles through their bodies,
protecting them from blows and serving as a paralytic weapon against their
enemies. They rarely kill if they can help it—they are much more interested in
robbery than in lethal violence. They do not have organs in the way of most
normal organisms, seeming more like a puppet operated by electric pulses.
Temparsas typically live in highly
regimented enclaves. Each knows their place in their hierarchy and is
constantly jockeying for position by obtaining wealth and prestige. Fights
between members of the same gang are uncommon, but when they do occur are typically
lethal. Temparsa gangs are uncommon, and the creatures themselves spread rumors
that they are native to another planet, plane or even time. The truth of their
origins is unknown, but it is known that they have a fascination for guns. A
firearm is among the most prestigious items a temparsa can possess, and
ownership of a gun can easily catapult a temparsa to the top of the heap.
Temparsa enclaves are known to target gunslingers and even gun manufacturers. They are accordingly disliked by Imabob’s faithful, though their abilities are of considerable interest to some sects.
